This is always the case when your object doesn't appear on a module evenly multiplied from the absolute origin.
Archicad doesn't automatically map to a surface as we would like.
You'll use Design> Align 3D Texture feature to select the object when viewed in 3D and click on a corner of it to anchor the material repeat pattern to that corner. This resets the local origin for that material.
