Complex Wall Background Fills

Ok... I am sure I am missing something obvious. I am using complex profiles to create cabinet like elements (cabinets, steam bench, sauna bench)...

And I use BACKGROUND FILLS for colored presentation drawings. I find now that I can't get any background color to show in these profiled walls... only BLOCKOUT fill...

If anyone knows how to control the BACKGROUND FILL (needs to be background fill so I can override for B/W plans).. in a complex... please chime in...

.... so if it's not possible... I guess my wish is for it to be possible.

Walls dont have Cover fills so I don't think there is a setting for it.
Maybe you could create a top axonometric view in 3D, then create a 3D Document out of that and you will have more choices there for your Wall.

So 2 things...

1. As has been discussed much here, can we add COVER FILLS for an instance such as this? Given that we'll be stretching the use the complex profiles?

2. Even the CUT FILL I cannot make work..


Patching is not a good option for me...

Well, honestly I don't know what could be done about this in the Wall Settings Dialog. Cover Fills are not available for Walls, and the Symbolic Cut is not available for Complex Profiles in general.
You are going to have to reort to some kind of workaround, like exploding a copy of those Wall and converting them to fills or something.
