Horizontal Wall Split Function

scottjm
Advisor

Would really love to have a function that can split a wall horizontally into two parts.

Have just had a need to have a material change in a wall at 2400H, and it would of been great to be able to select a whole bunch of walls, and just put a cut plane in 3D, and bam, two walls separate walls stacked on top of each other.

Instead you have to go through and duplicate the wall, and the manually adjust the top of and bottom of each.  Can be quite tedious with multiple walls.

Wonder if there is an API way to do it.. 🤔

You mean to horizontally spit a wall.

We can already spit a wall vertically with the split command.

I have amended your post so not to confuse.
