Hi, I've downloaded a colour palette from a paint manufacturer. It was under "Nemetschek" and is a .pal file. I understand the RAL goodie also uses a .pal file I can't find any documentation on how to import these files. Any idea?

Agreed 100%. I wouldn't relegate it to a legacy library. I'm sure some of these objects are useful for the global market.
