BIMx with live design options in Archicad 28

Is it possible to publish a BIMx model with alternate design options such that one cab toggle through various options as in a live Archicad (28) model? I recently tried by setting up 3D views with alternate design options in the publisher, but when I opened the BIMx model, the design option components were simply blank. It appears that it is possible, according to a post by Roland Szabo from April 2024, but I have been able to publish to BIMx with active design options.

You can save your design options as a view. If you publish these alternatives after that you can change them from BIMx.
