So...it appears I have this "blockage" when it comes to creating "schedules" in general.
I'll PAY someone to create a "Room Finish Schedule" to some basic parameters.
it's always so so difficult for me to understand the concept of how "schedules" in general are put together in Archicad that I get lost in all the minusia (sp?) of all the pull-downs, parameters, fields..etc... and never have a clue as to where to grab info from to populate the schedules with. With that said........here's a basic "Room Finish Schedule" matrix of what I'm looking for.
thanks, in advance.

Try this.
Click on the little black triangle next to the 'Add Fields...' button.
Choose 'Library Part Parameters'.
Now browse to the zone stamp you are using in the library.
Search through the list off parameters and add the ones you want.
Also I would probably change the criteria to say element type is zone rather than all.
And your zones will need to be in a layer that contains the word "Areas".
If your zones are not in a layer name that contains "Areas", you will get no result in your schedule.
You could probably remove that criteria, or change it to one that filters only for the zones that you want.

*minutiae
also, yes, i too would like to know how Finish Schedules can be generated using AC Scheduling. I've never done one entirely with this method & had to resort to tagging with codes called up elsewhere within AC or in coordination with Excel files.

so...I tried. I looked for those "Zones" parameters mentioned but I do NOT see the ones I see on the 'Zones walls, floors, etc..' list in this image. Where are those parameters that I can grab from? I definitely missing something here.

They are library part parameters from the zone stamp you have used.
I probably don't have the zone stamp you have used so images are just an example.
You need to click on the arrow next to 'Add Fields...' button.
Then browse your library for the zone stamp.
Then search the list for the parameters you want.
Arrange parameters by name so they will be easier to find.
