Hidden Elements in Section View

how do i show hidden elements in section view? in this case i have 2 roof log purlins that are behind the wall. in straight CAD this is an easy task and would like to know if AC can accomplish.

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sequoia 15.0.1

Move the section and let de section cut the purlins. 

Select the pulins, make a copy with command-c + command+v  (= 2d copy)

Move the section back to original position
