This would make a good wish; a preview image of wall types in schedules similar to door and window schedule previews that can be annotated.

If you tag the wall types where they are used, Keynotes will automatically produce a schedule of them.

I managed to find a way around it by making an 'off-layout' 'sample list' of walls, zooming in to this, then Document -> 'Save view and place on layout'.
Then one can use the usual in-layout text-tools to annotate each sample.
