GSM converting into ONE LCF folder for loading?

So a user here graciously offered up his GSM objects.
Now...how do I take ALL his GSM objects that are in a folder and convert them to ONE LCF folder for loading?

Use create container under File-> Libraries and Objects

There really is no need for a 'LCF' file at all unless you want a single file to deal with - a bit like a 'ZIP' file.
But if you ever want to edit what is in the 'LCF' file you will have to extract it again.
You can just load the folder containing all the library parts and you will get the same result.

I think there may be a slight speed advantage in loading a 'LCF' file rather than a whole library folder but I don't think you will notice a big difference.

I tried to use the "create container file" but I'm not sure it allowed me to go to another folder....I couldn't figure out how to go to a folder on my PC.

Seems you have to load the library folder first and then you can create a container file from it as it will then be in the active local library list.

Yes, you can create an LCF only from Libraries currently Linked to your Project.
