Module stuck in library

Somehow I have several modules in the embedded library. Not sure exactly how I put them there, but would like to delete them or unlink. Problem is that I can't delete, move or anything from the library manger. They don't show up in the Module manager. Not sure what to do about this.

Thanks Tom

Can you show screenshots of you Hotlinked Modules Dialog and the Library Mnager Dialog?

See attached for two screen shots. I don't seem to be able to manipulate them in any manner. Hope you can suggest something.

Thanks Tom

I guess I can't submit two pics at once. See this attached pic re: the library manager.

The library manager is just showing the library objects you have embedded into the MOD files.
You will probably need to open those MOD files separately and edit with the library manager there if you want to make changes to them.
As for the "Front" & "CAL room corner -rev" MODs (which don't appear in you hotlink list) - I am wondering if these are MODS linked from another MOD - i.e. a hotlink inside a hotlink.
So again you will have to open the parent MOD file to edit there.

Tom, what happens if you select any of the Hotlinked Modules in the list in the Hotlink Manager. The buttons of the right should become enabled then.

Also, could the layer they are placed on be locked, maybe?

The hotlink modules are all active and no problem. If I select one all buttons are active. It's the ones in the library that are the issue.

Barry's suggestions sounds right. I will try that out and let you know. But why would a nested module be in the library and not the hot. mgr. ?

RE: the front.mod stuck in the library. I brought in elements from another project I had saved in that project as a module. Then I broke the link and used parts from the module. Several of the parts were profiles I had created in the other project, which was a V15 project. Maybe that had something to do with the issue?

Would AC have saved those parts in the embedded library? I could understand that but why under Front.mod.

If I select one of those parts from the objects tool, I can insert it but can't change any of its parameters like height, width, etc. But I can copy that part from the floor plan and manipulate it any way I want.

It's seems like the .mod file is in the plan somewhere, but I can't find it. All layers are unlocked.

Thanks.

Tom, did you find a solution to this? I'm having the exact same problem.

Dan:
Have not found the solution. I think it has something to do with cut and paste however. A couple of mine had elements that I had cut and pasted from one module to another. Haven't had time to really determine if that's the issue or not however.
