License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

STAIR TOOL and line weight- I Surrender!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Does anyone know why the AC 10 stair tool insists on plotting out at a heavy lineweight? I have changed EVERY line weight setting in the tool settings window and in the Stair editor and it seems to be of no avail.
What am I missing, here?
Thanks,
Stephen

StairMaker stair?

Did you set the pens when creating the stair in the StairMaker dialogs?

UNchecking the use objects pens did the trick. Still don't know why I can't get to whatever pen it's using, however.

I am having the same problem, and I checked and unchecked the Enable Objects pens to no avail.

2raarchitecture,

You answered a 15-year old thread. The Stair tool did not exist at that time (what existed at that time was another tool called StairMaker).

Can you give more detail (possibly with screenshots) about the issue you are facing?

Thank you kindly for your reply. It's not helpful to tell people how old a post is. The solution was to change the model view options for both railings and stairs to full instead of simplified. Please, see attached.

Thanks for the solution, hopefully, others will find it useful.

By the way, there is no attachment in your last post.
