Are there any good sites out there that offer those objects or details how to build one?

I am trying to find or create an ornate "S" wrought Iron scroll for a balcony railing.
You can also use TrussMaker. Also flat.
Curved? Heh ... start with the flat slab, read up on BWALL.
If it is needed only for rendering (don't think so ...) draw the texture in Photoshop or something else, apply.

(trying to conserve on Forum Topics)...
I am trying to find a Wrought Iron Basket... Looks like the picture below...
Maybe I can get creative with the RAMP object...
Anyway, if you know of one that exists out there in the ether, let me know....

Duane,
You could play with the SWEEP command in GDL...as I recall, it has a rotation that you can set for just such a twist.

I don't have it but I would not be surprised if it turned out that you can do this with Objective.

2 min. with the Ramp Object got me this...
Could spend some time adjusting parameters... it's a little "loose", but good enough for now..

ok.... another dig on the new library schemes for TW2...
The object below; seeming very simplistic, is a 10mb file... no joke!
So the dig is having all these parts EMBEDDED into my file is a killer!

Maybe you could reduce the resolution of the model with the RESOL command in the 3D Script so it will create those twisted surfaces out of less planes. Which will result in smaller file size.
Maybe 16 or 12 will be sufficient instead of the default 36.
