Yes I agree!
This should definitely be a multilingual test. But I think it should be up to all of the respective distributors to fix it. Basically take the existing test and translate it.

Cheers.

We definitely plan to translate the tests to German and in case there is sufficient demand we consider other language translations too...

Definitely it needs a translation to other languages! Specially questions regarding menu structures... you can handle the meaning of "resize", with a local version but when it goes to "Work Enviroment /..../...." you definitely need next to you the guys who localized the software!

And I found that some questions are quite tricky!

Since the Dutch version doesn't exist anymore, we only have the option of a French or an English version.

I thought I would fail, since I don't use ArchiCAD that often, but it seems that I was at least able to receive 66%.

Some feedback would be nice, e.g. correct the mistakes you made.

IMHO this should be done by local partners, as they are going to do the local testing anyway, and know the language and the lingo better than others. Yes, even english - it takes time to understand that "2 by 4" is not eight ... to quote Gabor Bojar from an old keynote.

I agree, how are we going to learn if we don't know what we got wrong?

you may also want to look at revising this question from more than a promotional look-ma-no-hands now that spotlight is around . . .

Thanks for the link Ben.

Hmm, didn't do as well as I'd thought I would (72%). I'm sure it's ridged against me!

I hate it when I click next and I just realised I made an error, then I hit back, then when I click "next" it skips a number. I suppose so people don't cheat. I hate timers on things, make me make rash decision, again, I'm sure so people don't just load AC and check the answer.

Anyway, nifty bit of fun none the less I'm sure there's a point to this....somewhere....
