Missing wall in module

I havea building with a two story wall. The wall has the following settings.
1. Link to stories=automatic
2. Floor plan display=projected
3. Show projection=entire element

The base of the wall is at -48 from first story.
I can see it fine in 3D and all sections and elevations.

I place the building into the site plan as a module. The module is set to a height of 108 inches on the site plan, which is actual height above sea level, and the grade of this site. Everything else shows up fine, except this one wall. this is the only two story wall so the problem might lie with its characteristics. The wall does not show up in plan, or elevation, or 3D.
I've tried all the combos, seems like, to no avail.

I suspect that the walls aren't showing in plan because your FPCP does not actually cut them. You will need to set the FPCP at at least 108" because that is the elevation of the wall.

If that is not a feasible solution, try changing your walls to Link to 'Own Story only' and a Floor Plan Display of 'Symbolic Cut'.

All the other walls show up, except the two story wall. That wall would not have a different cutting plane, would it?

yeah it seems that with the Show projection=entire element, the FPCP would be irrelevant. But I am one that was gone back-and-forth & forth-and-back with the FPCP.

No, no, no...

When you choose a Projected method it uses the cut plane to determine the projection. The 'entire element' part just refers to how much of the wall you will see s well as the cut. Since there is only one FPCP per view, you either need to adjust that (single) FPCP or set the wall to not use the FPCP by making it appear as a Symbolic Cut (which basically means make it work like all walls did in AC9).

I'm not at the work computer right now, but if I recall correctly, the symbolic cut choice was greyed out on that wall.

Well then your options are to either need to model two walls or adjust your FPCP to suit.

Good luck.

i had this problem a while back - a selection of walls in my ground floor module just did not want to show up.

i found in the end that their base elevation was below the storey level and therefore they were being missed from the module. i ended up creating another module of the site/foundation storey below and all was well again . . .
