Nope.

You might be able to make a super thin beam (1/64") and stretch it around.

this is probably a dumb question but did you try to just view the model in wire frame mode?

Steve that is defiantly not a dumb question, and the answer is no.
I don't know how to switch modes. Will wire frame show 2d lines?

You can't view 2D AC lines in 3D views. You can view DWG files in 3D, however, so maybe you can convert your lines to DWG, attach the DWG file, then view. I have read it somewhere here, try a search.
lines are not 3D so the answer is no.

however, you can make walls beams, columns, what ever as small as you like if you are wanting to draw the wire frame of something in 3D mode.

If it is just that you want to view your model in wire frame mode that is just click "Ctrl+Shift+F9" or change your settings by clicking View-3D View Mode-3D Window Settings.

The secret is to use the Internal Engine rather than Open GL mode.

You may also find it useful to convert your 2D lines into someting 3D using the magic wand. Then you you can see them in 3D.

What is it that you are making?

Now this is an occasion where copying a flat marquee from the 3D window to another window would come in handy!

Cheers,
Link.

thank you all for your help and support.
I am trying to build a wireframe model of a tower I we are working on. the wireframe model will serve as the underlay for architectural space planning, then by used for structural analysis.

I attach an archive with two 3D line objects, one established by angle slope and the other by separate elevations.
