Window and door sash shows in 3D with contours off

I am turning contours off and sun shadows on to have a bit realistic 3D for schematic phase of a project. The problem is that the sash pen is still visible no matter what I do!

Please click on the image to see it bigger. The blue lines are not very visible on the small preview.

Please help.

Try turning off "enable objects pens" and choose your own.
Symbol line pen is the one I think your looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have tried that and I assigned a pen that blends with the window color. The problem is that pen will show up in floor plan also.

An alternative could be changing the pen in parameters/3d representation/sash pen. That way this will not affect the floor plan view.

Graphisoft. I believe we got a bug here. If so, there is no way to report it because the link on the header of this forum gets you to a support page that says nothing about bug reports.

Actually, I think you can turn that pen off in plan if I remember right.
It might be in the wall settings, it's been over a year since I think I did that, so maybe I'm confused.
Anyway, I think it was someplace you would not suspect?

Diego:

If the window is W Double Hung 17, then the pen is found at W Double Hung USA Settings > Sash Options > Sash Surfaces and Attributes > Pen in 3D, which could be set to a white pen, but then would disappear in the Elevations. I think the real issue is that the pen shows when Contours are Off in the 3D Window Settings, so is a bug.

I have logged this as a bug and it will be addressed by the developers. It looks like it is just in the USA version, not the International version. I am not sure about other languages.

In the meantime David's suggestion is the workaround I would use.
