translator question

I have an Autocad survey, drawing scale is 1 to 1 (real size) I have set translator to change line from the autocad linetype to Archicad line type. However, they all come out to be solid lines

The scale in the Archcad drawing is 1" = 10". I bet this is a linetype scale issue, but I don't know how to resolve it. The linetype scale in the Archicad drawing is set to 1.00.

Any help would be appreciated.

You should set the ArchiCAD scale at import/merge/open to the scale AutoCAD drawing was made for. Then the lines will come in properly.

You have to redefine the linetypes to follow the scale ... AutoCAD's don't
