Cannot conect remotely

I've been invited to collaborate on a project remotely, the main office is in Nevada USA and I'm in Mexico....

For ever reason when I try to join from teamwork i get an error window we both are working on the same version and build AC18 USA 5100

Then the main office and my self upgraded to AC19 USA 3003 and still the same problem persist any suggestions....

What happens if you click the "Run Network Diagnostic" link in the Dialog?
Does that offer any solution?
I think that is a new feature in AC19.

Hi

You will need to add the port number :19000 to the end of the IP address

Tried that already with BIM server 19 build 3003 ...but it didn't work either

I am having the same problem. Were you able to get it to work? We have two remote offices and neither can access the BIM server.

This might be due to how the firewall is configured on your router... have you checked that the ports are open and forwarding to the correct internal LAN IP addresses? Presumably you are using a VPN connection to the remote BIM server - then also make sure that the IP address ranges do not clash, I.e. If you are on e.g. 192.168.1.x and the other office as well then you will not be able to connect (but need to change to something like 192.168.15.x or 10.1.x.x
