Exporting to Cinema 4D

Not applicable
We have a rendering issue that some of the 3D models that we need to use are either not converting well in Archicad 18 even with helper apps such as ModelPort. Our question is can we export the Archicad 18 file into Cinema 4D and still be able to add new objects that are more complex to the file for rendering?

We are creating concept for a new high end automotive dealership and the car models that are available are the issue.

Ok, we have gotten the AC file out C4D via Din3D and will see about adding in the .cdr automotive files that we could not get into AC. I am wondering though, if items were converted from .3ds into AC and do not render properly is that the CinemaRender engine in AC or were the original .3ds files changed. If its the CinemaRender engine then if we were to place the vehicles in AC they might render in C4D

Any thoughts?

If I had to guess it would be the original conversion from 3DS to AC not the rendering engine.
