Is there a setting, other than the transparency toggle in the 3D window Settings, that controls transparency in a sketch render?

In the meantime, what I've found to work okay is to change the OpenGL transparency settings to 0 just during the sketch render. Works pretty well, even though it is an extra step.

Personally I am looking forward to AC19. The fix listed in the help center
Transparent surfaces are not rendered as such by the Sketch rendering engineis actually exactly the reverse of what I have experience. I cannot get transparent surfaced to render opaque. It sounds like in AC19 we will have a toggle in the render engine rather than other settings to control transparency. This can then easily be saved with the view settings.

Yes, it seems there will probably be a new "Transparency" checkbox for the Sketch Render in ARCHICAD 19 (of course nothing is final until it is actually release).

That toggle would be a very welcome addition for our artist impressions.
