I just had this issue, and I found that turning off Snap Guides and Points and guide lines while trace is on solves the problem.

Thanks! This has been driving me crazy, since I was trying to make scaled linetypes for detail drawings (which of course are independent), and there were all kinds of unexplainable things going on with the lines.

Also, copying the add-on folder in to your Archicad folder might overwrite your existing add-on folder, deleting all the previosuly installed add-ons. If you are running a non-english, localized version, AC will not recognize a folder named 'Add-ons'...

If you are on windows, don't close the command prompt window after initializing the engine, just minimize it and click Generate.

Windows 11. After some testing this thickening seems 'business as usual', it occurs on different computers, different porjects, so I guess I'll justa have to reduce all line weights a bit in the pen sets.
