Workaround/Hack: Can you offset one of those sub-element by 0.1 mm or
so? Archicad will sense that they do not touch and will draw the line.
The 0.1 mm value is small enough so that it will not be visible in 3D or
in the documentation or in dimension...

Select the Curtain Wall, and check the Building Material field in the
"Curtain Wall Panel Settings" panel of the Settings Dialog's Panels
page. I suspect it is missing, so you should set it to a Building
Material that is available in your Project Fil...
Which Archicad and Bimcloud versions and builds are you using? (It would
be a good idea to add this info to your signature.) Could you also
attach a screenshot of the step you were performing before the crash and
maybe the bug ID from the Bug reporte...
