Rotating Door Marker

How do I rotate a basic door marker?  I feel like this is a dumb thing that I'm missing somewhere!   Here, I have two doors using the same basic built-in marker.   I want to be able to rotate the marker for Door 102-A so that it's readable (horizontal).   I feel like I've tried every option in the door controls.  I can move it with the pet palette, but if I try to rotate it with the pet palette and handle, it flips the door.

I also tried using the door and window label tool, rather than the marker in the door itself, and I can't get that to rotate either.

What am I missing???

It is this setting.

This is in 29 but my marker is called "Door Marker" and not "D Marker".

So maybe it is a different object (i.e. not from the USA libraries).

@jd10003  what version of Archicad are you using? And which marker? I tried to replicate with basic door marker in Archicad 28 and had no issue with text readability (it shows horizontally).

This is ArchiCAD 29.  The door marker is the standard included marker called "D Marker"

jd10003:

I found the same setting in the same place in the US version.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

There it is!  I don't know why I couldn't find it!!  Thank you for the help.  (I also don't know why mine is called something different, when I'm using the USA version of 29....but that's a question for another day.)
