SOLVED!

Where have my windows and doors gone?

I started drawing a renovation plan -- windows and doors were in the "existing" filter. They were still there in the "demolish" filter. I added new ones to the "new" filter. Then magically, they all disappeared. Any clues as to where they have gone? They show up on the door schedule, just not on the drawing.

Thanks everyone, I think I found the problem. I accidentally built the walls on Storey 0 then "saved current view" from there, so it was never going to work. What a difference it makes to build the walls on the correct Storey ha ha. ~Anita

Check your reno settings, as well as your MVO settings.

Hello, check my reno settings for what? The doors showed on every filter until recently. And what is an MVO, and a MVO setting?? ~Anita

#designrevellion

MVO = Model View Options.

You can hide the doors and windows in plan there as well.

Any chance your Floor Plan Cut Plane is above all your openings?

Relevant if you have set your doors and window display to something other than symbolic.

thank you -- my doors are set as Symbolic on the floor plan display ~A

Thank you Barry, my settings match what you've screenshot here... ~A

#designrevellion

If your doors are symbolic and the MVO is set to show doors, that is good.

Are the walls also set to symbolic?

They can be set otherwise, but the height of the Floor Plan Cutting Plane will come into effect.

Other than that, all I can think of it is the current renovation filter you are using.

You should have one called "Show All" ?

Apply that  and see what happens.

Thanks Blair, I changed my height to current storey to match yours (it was at 1150), but it didn't make a difference. I think I'm just going to delete my project and start again! ~A
