Hi! I know how the question sounds, but I believe it or not, I can't figure out how to rotate objects VERTICALLY. Yes I know, I can rotate horizontally, that's really nice.. but how to proceed vertically? This is a "nightmare" and I can't believe I am asking this 😄
I tried to click everywhere by setting up different angles and degrees, even minus degrees but nothing helped. One would think I can do it in the VIEW attached.
Please can someone explain like I am 5, thanks so much. :

Sorry to break the news: You can't.
If the object is not set up to do so, there is no way to do it. Only converting back to Morphs could help here.
Your object looks like an import?!... – if you are not too afraid to learn a tiny bit of GDL you could do it yourself. Don't worry, it's really not that hard.

You can always try an object rotator if you don't want to delve into GDL.
I think you lose control of the original object parameter, but might be OK for simple objects like the knob.
There are a few around, but here is one in the BIMcomponents site.
In object settings, just search for 'Rotator' and download it.

Noooooo. ARE YOU SURE??????? 😄
That is a bummer. I am in disbelieve I can't turn objects as I want, its still an object, the info is there..
Buuuut ok. With gdl language I don't know, It took me all day to make an arch in vertical slab, forbid gdl language.
That being said I went into the object setting, assuming that was gdl language, Like what would be the gdl language to start and put it vertically - Is it just like one line, or is it a full page script?

2 options:
1-convert to morph and rotate
2-if it's not a locked or complex object, open the object (file > libraries and objects > open object).
Add the following lines of script.
to the 3d script: ROTx 90
to the 2d script (delete all, then add): project2 3,270,2
