Hi Guys,
I am having trouble with the outlines of walls in plan (AC26).
When there is a junction, the outline (thicker) stops where the finish layer is. See attached to better understand the issue.
Both walls are on the same layer, same levels, same composite.
Any thoughts?
Thank you

Have a look at the composite settings and make sure the skin end lines are turned on.
This image is from 22, but it is still the same.
Barry.

Hi Barry,
Thank you for getting back to me. Much appreciated.
All are ticked, the materials are the same, the reference line is in the same position, etc.
If you have any further suggestions, please let me know.
Thank you
Miguel

That has always worked for me.
Is it anything to do with the angle of the walls to each other?
Does the same happen for a 90° corner?
Barry.

Hi Miguel,
I think you should change the render - Lime layer cut pen form 1 to 2. (right where your active line is)

Hi David,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I did try that, but in a way it solves the issue. However, when connecting with other wall types, it creates another.
The end line will show up in the intersection and it won't give me the clean cut line I am looking for. See image attached.
I have been trying all types of settings with the composites, but it never gets me a clean cut line. Should I just have the cutline as a 2d element rather than trying to get archicad to achieve what I want?
Thank you.

Hi Miguel,
Taking a closer look on your screenshot, first try switch back to the original pen destribution an change the underlaying layers (insulation, wood and air) of your composit to "other" from "finish".

Hi David,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Yeah, I tried that and it got me to my first screenshot. The thicker line gets interrupted.
It is a bit frustrating this tool. You can't really control the full extent of it. And the merge tool doesn't allow wall to wall connections.
Thank you anyway.
