Ending a continuous wall

I'm working through a tutorial and drawing a railing. I'm using a complex profile and the wall command, with 'continuous' clicked on.

How do I end the continuous wall? I tried hitting 'enter', 'escape', double clicking, searching online, but can't seem to figure it out. Of course it's probably something very obvious.......

Anyone care to share? Thanks

On the last segment click to place it and then click on the same spot again (black pencil icon).

Another way: if the Control Box palette is displayed, you can use the "OK" button.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Or: right-click and select the OK command from the appearing context menu.

It would also be efficient if ArchiCAD would end & close a line, wall, fill, slab, etc. with a simple keystroke; (like maybe cmd-enter or something.) Even though it only saves one click, it does ensure that the element is closed.

For the polygonal tools (Slab, Roof, Mesh, Fill), double-clicking the last node closes the polygon.

The existence of the double-click feature is understood. However, it would still be efficient to have a simple keystroke that would achieve the same result without having to go back to the first node.
