Renovation filter for skins?

Hello

I am working on a residential renovation, three walls are part of the envelop the fourth is a party/demising wall. We are removing all exterior cladding and interior finishes to expose the wood frame structure. Rebuilding with new interior insulation, new exterior sheathing and exterior insulation, new exterior cladding and new interior finish.

At this moment can the renovation filter be applied just to the skins of that composite wall assembly?
Is the work around make three walls, one outer finish, two structure, three interior finish, pick the two to demo and then redraw two new walls?

Negative. Renovations filters cannot be applied to individual parts of an assembly. You could use a combination with Design Options to break up your wall construction for the relevant drawings if you are usings GOs so that they are consistent.

It was previously on the Roadmap, but I do not see it there anymore... There are also a few wishes for this functionality such as this one and this older one that have been around since Composites first came out.

Graphisoft declared a year ago that they´re putting this wish on the roadmap. Does anyone have any idea why it disappeared?

Hi Foti,

You can use the wand tool to speed up drawing the separate walls if your case admits this. I have written a short article on that: https://archi-xt.com/posts/how-to-use-wand-tool-wall-coverings/
