Multiple renders

Hi All,

I've got 4 renders to produce and not a lot of time. Just wondering whether I could do them at the same time, or should I just do them one at a time - which method would be fastest?

Much appreciated.

With 8 GB of RAM (in signature below), I believe one at a time is gonna be your best bet.
I've got a lot more memory in my machines (32 to 48 to 56GB), but I still do only one render at a time per one machine.

I don't think there is any benefit in rendering multiple scenes at the same time with one machine, but I suspect there might be a slowdown at least at some degree in the total rendering time for all of the the scenes combined. And your memory will be eaten for sure.

The only perk of doing them all at once is you can keep working in the model, so this is great for on the fly low settings renders, but not so much for final presentation renders.

Stay away from the medium and final presets with those hardware specs. I've written some tips on quick renders with decent settings on this forum that start with modifying the fast render presets.
