window and door dimension markers

Is there a method to allow the window and door dimension markers to be shown on plans which are at one scale (for example 1/4"=1'-0") while not being shown on the same plan but in a different scale (like 1/8"=1'-0")? AR23

Thanks

Not unless they have been scripted to be scale sensitive - which I very much doubt they will be.

However, as you are dealing with different scales, you should have 2 different plan views saved - one for each scale.

You can control the visibility of the door and window markers in the Model View Option.

So it is simply a case of having 2 MVO combinations, one that shows the markers and one that doesn't.

Set the appropriate MVO combination in the settings of each plan view.

Otherwise you can use labels in different layers.

Create layer combinations to turn those layers on/off and apply the appropriate layer combination to the plan view.
