Cineware renderer quits in ArchiCAD 28

I just downloaded and installed ArchiCAD 28 and I get the same message regarding Cineware rendering engine quitting that I got with the 28 Technology preview:

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based

A friend of mine had the same issue on ac28 student version Mac intel based under sequoia OS and, after contacting graphisoft, they provided the solution suggesting to delete the plugins folder under Cineware folder.

Problem solved.

Hi Karel,

I still have this problem, have reported it to Graphisoft tech support, and they are unable to provide a solution.  The link for a new cineware folder does not solve the problem, nor does deleting the plugins folder. I have tried v 27, 28, and 29, as well as downgrading my macOS to Sonoma on a separate partition. No luck with any of these solutions.  Running Mc OS 15.6.1 on a 2019 Macbook Pro.  I was able to render for years until just earlier this year, possibly when I upgraded to Sequoia, so I assumed downgrading would solve the problem, but that was not the case. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

the original solution (replacing the folder) was reccomended via Graphisoft.
Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other workarounds. You have to keep sending data to Grahpisoft and probalby based on fastloggers they could help you.

If you delete the 'Redshift' folder from within the Cinerender folder that should allow cinerender to run without issue. I believe Redshift not longer works and the content of that folder causes Cinerender to malfunction.

Make sure you restart Archicad once you have deleted the folder. You will need to do it for all versions you have.

I tried that as well. No luck. I literally attempted the cineware folder replacement about 10 times. And restarted Archicad after that.
