Hyperlink text option

I wish i could drag a hyperlink from a browser toolbar into archicad, and instead of it just turning into text, it would also become a functioning hyperlink.

Just in case you didn't know, it is a functioning hyperlink once you publish it as a PDF.
It is just not a hyperlink inside of Archicad - not even on the layout page.
So there is no way to test it in Archicad without publishing as a PDF.

yes - that is correct - which is great for folks views the drawings via pdf.
Where i was going with this is that the hyperlink should work inside the model to help provide instant access to information that helps a team work on a project.
For example a link visible in each space that that opens a onenote doc with specs for the space.

I would like to change some text into a hyperlink, as I'm typing in my text box, that links to certain layouts in our Layout Books or views in our View Map.

Example:  If I type in text that reads "See detail 7/A8.07".  If I was able to hyperlink the 7/A8.07 to that sheet or view, and someone in a published PDF was to click on the 7/A8.07 text, it would take them directly to that sheet in the set or directly to the view in the set.

I'm thinking this would be great for jurisdictional plan reviewers to review our sets easier, and also contractors and subcontractors that are viewing the PDF set on a tablet or phone.

Hurry! it is 2024..  building design becomes more and more driven by building regulations published on the internet.

It is very useful to be able to point to regulations on your drawings.

It is almost unbelievable this function is not there already.

I don't think this is even on the roadmap! It's a pretty basic feature and fundamental for project/company guidance.

Is there any update on implementing the ability to create a functioning hyperlink?
