ArchiCAD 28.3.0 & MacOS Tahoe

Does anyone have any issues to report? If CineRender crashing is the only issue, I'd like to upgrade.

Yes, I know the caveats, but would like to know what others may have experienced. Thanks!

At least for me, this also happens with standard menus. I’ve edited the menus in Work Environment though.

I'm still investigating. I found some other unwanted behavior so reinstalled AC29. I also temporarily removed all 3rd party add-ons from 29 and 28. The bug hasn't recurred, but more testing to do.

Issue identified and AFAIK working on a fix. It is not limited to AC29 nor current macOS.

Hi everyone,

This problem with the freezing menu windows is a known issue (DEF‑26526), and it is planned to be fixed in the next Archicad upgrade or hotfix.

As a temporary workaround, please note that the issue typically occurs when Archicad is not the active window, causing the menu bar to appear greyed out. In this state, please avoid clicking any menu items.
Instead, first click once inside the Archicad workspace (for example, on the floor plan or in the 3D view). In most cases, the menu bar will turn black again, indicating that Archicad is active. After that, menu commands can be used normally without triggering the problem.

In earlier cases, performing a full preference clean often resolved the issue, so it is worth trying this as well:

I had auto system updates turned off, and thought I was updating Sequoia.. but now I have Tahoe. I do use Cinerender a lot, so I am worried.  I am on AC26. I opened a project, that had a rendering set up, and it generated fine. I have not messed with any settings however.  Are there any know things that triggered the Cinerender crash??

Thanks
