Groin Vault morph object - how to show where it cuts?

rob2218

see attached.
basically, I've created a brick groin vault object. Now...when i take a section cut...the part of the groin vault that is 'supposed' to show up in cut is...well, not showing as a cut. How/where/what/button will fix this?

I'm not all too keen on the "foreground" "background" cut overrides. it's all bit voodoo-BIM to me....very confusing sometimes how the foreground and background play a part in how objects show up in cut.

If that structure is something with a constant thickness you could try to model it using the Shell Tool instead of the Morph Tool.

Thanks, it does have constant thickness. I'll try it with the shell tool.
