hello,
I have placed my doors and windows in my model and they look fine in the 3d. Nevertheless, in plan and elevation they do not show and I only have the gaps in the walls. any ideas?
thanks in advance

Check your Model View Options. It's possible they are set to only show the opening,

If the windows and doors don't show in 3D then you've got real problems. MVO's are at Document > Set Model View > Model View Options... You should save the Model View Option Combination once you're done, which can then be assigned to a view.

Cheers,

my windows and doors are visible ok in the 3D views but not in the plans/elevations.
I have copied and pasted one wall with its windows onto another AC file and they show ok in all views. I am now tempting to copy/paste the whole building into this filw so to solve the problem...wel if I do not manage to figure out what is happening.

No, I did not invent the acronym

What is the display of the doors and windows set to? Symbolic or otherwise?

Where are the walls relative to the current storey?

What is the wall display set to?

And so on ...

Do you have a Greek Version of AC? The software gets confused when you have the two libraries (gr & en).
On your plan, if you try to select a "dissapeared" door, open it's properties and click ok, you should be able to see them again on the plan. Try to ctrl+A all the windows and open properties for faster results.
You should only use one library though..
