Negative quotas in progressive dimensions / move origin

I'm was trying to manually design sections dimension, with zero not at the top from my dimension line, but seems not possible. I think that in some case it could be useful set progressive dimension not at one of the top, getting negative dimensions on the other side (normally at left). Seems not a huge job to add this, so I hope developers will evaluate this request.

Not a bad workaround... but left dimensions should have a minus sing. I know I can add it editing every dimension text, but it's not the perfect solution.

How does a builder build a minus dimension ?

Having a minus dimension in a dim string is not logical

There really is no such thing as a negative distance (dimension).

It is a positive distance, just in a different direction.

What about changing the markers to an arrow so you can see the intended direction?
